Summer is right around the corner and you’re probably longing for those lazy days full of sunshine and bathing suits. There are tons of water parks to choose from in Dallas-Fort Worth, but we’ve rounded up the best. We’re looking for water parks open to the public with great amenities so you can stay and play all day long!

As always, we look for the most up-to-date information to share with you. Check admission rates, opening status, and policies before you go and always wear sunblock!

Bahama Beach Waterpark

This medium-sized DFW water park near the airport re-opens for the season starting May 25. They have six attractions, plus a gift shop and food court. Admission is $15 for people 48″ and taller, $11 for those under 48″, and free for kids aged 2 and under. They also offer a discount for Dallas residents and season passes!

 

Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex

This public pool and water park is run by the local municipality. It’s currently undergoing a major renovation to make the park even more awesome but they’re sure to be open by Summer of 2019. They offer six attractions including a zero- depth pool, a diving well, toddler splash pad, 22′ high slides, and more. During the week, residents can get in for just $5. Non- residents are just $1 more. Everyone will pay an extra $1 for weekend admission.

 

Burger’s Lake

Who says nature doesn’t know how to have fun? This natural area in Fort Worth with a one- acre spring- fed lake, two sandy beaches, diving boards, 20-foot slides, and a 25-foot trapeze is its own kind of water park. They also offer all the usual park amenities like grills and restrooms. No alcohol or pets are allowed. Admission is $15 per person and just $5 for kids 6 and younger. They re-open on May 26!

 

Epic Waters Indoor Water Park

The name here says it all. This water park boasts 10 attractions and it’s open year- round! Admission is $22 for residents and $34 for non- residents over 48″ tall. Under 48″ tall will cost you $17 for grand prairie residents, $29 for non-residents. Children younger than 3 get in free! They also offer discounts on special days for locals who do not live in Grand Prairie as well as Tiny Tot Days, group passes, Twilight Swim, and much more.

 

Hawaiian Falls Waterpark

One of the great things about this park is that there are several in the area. They have locations in The Colony, Mansfield, Garland, Waco, and more. They have 10 attractions to choose from and allow you to bring your own cooler with food and drinks for $15- you’ll save on refreshments! For kids 48″ and up, admission is $28.99. Below 48″, you’ll get in for $20.99. Kids aged 2 and under are free. They also offer discounts for Seniors and military. They re-open for the 2019 season at the end of May.

 

Pirate’s Cove

This Seasonal water park with a year-round arcade is located in Burleson. They open for weekends- only starting May 18 and full time for the summer starting May 25. They boast 13 attractions to choose from including 11 slides, 2 waterfalls, beaches, lazy rivers, and more. They also have three different restaurants to choose from and a shady, air-conditioned arcade.  General admission is $24.99. Under 42″ tall is just $18.99. Kids 2 and younger are free. During the summer, go from 4- 6 pm for just $9.99! They also offer season passes online only for a discount.

 

NRH20 Family Water Park

Opening May 4, this North Richmond Hills water park has 14 attractions to choose from. You can find everything from a lazy river to thrill- rides ready to knock your sunblock off! Admission is $28.99 for kids 48″ and taller. Below 48″ is $21.99. Kids aged 2 and younger are free! They also offer discounts for Seniors as well as cheaper options online.

 

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor

This water park at Six Flags is not the largest in size but it definitely has the most attractions! Choose from racing slides, twisting turns, free falls, a Treehouse, lazy rivers, beaches, and more. There’s a little something for everyone. Admission is  $38.99 for 48″ and taller, $33.99 under 48″tall, and free for 2 and younger. They also offer an online discount when you purchase your tickets in advance. They re-open for the season in May!
