Tuba Christmas Concert at FW Water GardensCome to the Fort Worth Water Gardens tomorrow, Dec. 23, for a special Tuba Christmas concert. Conductor Richard Murrow expects as many as 150 tuba and euphonium players at the tuba-only concert in downtown Fort Worth’s Water Gardens, 1502 Commerce St.. at noon Thursday. It’s dedicated to Harvey Phillips, the man who started the concerts in 1974 in New York and who died Oct. 20.

If you play the tuba, you can participate – tuba players are encouraged to register at 9 a.m. and rehearse at 9:45 a.m. at the venue, the Central Square on the park’s south side.

Thanks, Star-Telegram!
