NYE in Dallas: Party on the Plaza– The party starts at 7 pm with live entertainment, food trucks, and a spectacular view of the fireworks from Reunion Tower. The party is going down at City Hall Plaza with free admission. Children are allowed but there are no kid-centered activities.
Public Libraries– The public library branches in and around DFW have various activities scheduled for kids and families! Check out NYE crafts, a Preschool Party, NYE Story Time, and more. Find your local branch library and look up their online calendar.
Sci-Tech Discovery Center– The Countdown to Noon party is happening from 11 am to 2 pm for kids and anyone who can’t stay up until midnight! There will be stage shows, robots, balloon twisters, designing Snapchat Filters, and much more. Tickets are only sold online with admission starting at $20 for non-members.
Food Hall at Crockett Row– This NYE Party is just for families and kids! From 6 – 9 pm, enjoy local food vendors, a complimentary prosecco toast for adults, cookies and soft drinks for the kids, a photo booth, and free kids activities. Admission is free, just pay for your food and drinks!
2155 Ballroom & Events– This year’s NYE celebration is family-friendly and you can dress formally or casually! Admission is $15 per person if you bring a dish for the potluck. There will also be party favors, a margarita machine, a live DJ, and a champagne toast at midnight.

80s Rockin New Year’s Eve Featuring Metal Shop at House of Blues Dallas– Celebrate NYE in Dallas with some great music at House of Blues. There will be non-stop hair metal all night long! Get decked out in your best 80s hair metal outfit and rock your way into the new year. There will be giveaways, a photobooth, drink specials, a midnight champagne toast, and more. The best part? 88 Keys Dueling Piano Bar– The entertainers for this party are flying in from all over the world! There will be tribute performers, comedians, magicians, and more.
