Special (Affordable) Valentine's Dinner at Ferre

I’m a big fan of Ferre – not only do they have pretty good food and a nice atmosphere, the location (right across from Bass Hall downtown) is perfect. And, they have good specials. If you’re planning a night out for Valentine’s Day, consider taking advantage of their special prix-fixe menu, which will only be available on Valentine’s weekend (Feb. 12 and 13). The four-course menu is only $45 per person. At most other restaurants of this caliber, you’d spend much more for the same meal. Check out the menu here.

There are, however, two catches to this deal – and if you plan ahead, they really aren’t that big of a deal. First, you can only get the $45 price if you come in before the nightly Bass Hall show – on the 12th and 13th, the show starts at 8 p.m. If you come in after 8, you can still dine from the Valentine’s menu, but you’ll pay a la carte.
