By now, you’ve probably heard about the advantages of tankless hot water heaters. The deal goes like this: If you purchase a Rheem tankless hot water heater from Baker Brothers anytime through June 30, and the temperatures do not hit 100 degrees in July, you will get your heater free. On the surface, this probably sounds like a sucker’s deal – it’s July in Texas, it’s going to be hot, right? Don’t be so sure. This phenomenon last occurred in 2007, so it’s not an impossible feat. And if you’re in the market for a new heater, this could be a worthwhile deal. If the deal pans out, your purchase price, installation and sales tax – approximately $3,200 – will be returned to you.
