When you go to Kroger, bring your grocery coupons with you and save even more. Here are a few examples of some of the matchups you can take advantage of. These matchups assume your store doubles and triples coupons (I believe most Krogers in DFW do).
Nature Valley Granola Bars, $2.29, minus 0.40 coupon from here, doubled = $1.49
Romano’s Macaroni Grill dinners, $3.50, minus $1 coupon from here = $2.50
Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers, $1.28 each, minus 0.50/2 coupon from 2/21 or 3/7 Smartsource insert, doubled = 0.78 each

Now on to the good stuff: To show you just how many great deals you can get at Kroger, I am giving one of my lucky Texas readers a $25 gift card to Kroger. You can enter one, or both, of two ways:
1. Leave a comment on this post (include your e-mail – it won’t be shown) with one of your best grocery savings tips.
2. Tweet about this giveaway on Twitter – include a link to this post and FWotC’s Twitter handle (@fwcheap). When you’ve done this, leave another comment on this post with a link to the tweet.
Each method gets you one entry into the giveaway. Maximum of two entries per person. You must be a Texas resident to enter. I will choose the winner with a random number generator on Monday, March 15, at 12 p.m. central time. All entries must be in by 11:59 a.m. on March 15. In the case that an ineligible entrant’s name is drawn, I will draw another name. Good luck!
Disclosure: The Kroger Family of Stores and General Mills, through MyBlogSpark, provided me with a $25 Kroger gift card to give away and an additional gift card for myself, so I could tell you about the great savings firsthand. These companies also provided some of the information in this post. I have not received any other compensation from Kroger, General Mills, or MyBlogSpark.

I like to shop at ethnic grocery stores. They usually have great deals on produce and meats. You need to sort through a bit at times, but it saves a lot of money.
Coupons Coupons annnnnd Coupons…and price matching at walmart helps sometimes too 😉
One of your best grocery savings tips- shop on sale, study the ad and match with coupons. Ask if stores offer their own coupons to combine.

I always use grocery coupons and save up to 40 to 60% on my weekly grocery shopping.
I would love to win this gift card times are tough with every one now.Have a great day.
As a newlywed, I’m learning how to shop for two and make our dollars streeeeeeetch. This would come in super handy!!!
Being involved with a coupon group where we send each other coupons not needed or they can use
i like to make a list — that way it cuts down on impulse buying
I always take the weekly ads to Walmart and also search for coupons online to print.
Love to shop at Kroger — my fave! Make a list, read the store ads and stick to it!
I go to the store without my kids when I can.
Buy whole chickens rather than parts. Costs usually half as much! And, when they’re on sale for $0.99/lb, stock up and freeze. I can get 3 meals for 4 people from one 4 lbs chicken!
Not sure how to link, but should show up on your @fwcheap page.
I sent: “fortworthcookie @fwcheap is giving away a $25 Kroger gift card…get your entry in now https://su.pr/2ZdaFj“
I shop the perimeter of the store. Fruits, Veggies, Meats, Milk etc. You avoid the processed and more expensive items this way…
Make a list, think of meal ideas before hand. If not brand loyal look at the per oz price on the price listing to compare
