You don’t have to drive to Dallas to participate in DFW-area Hanukkah celebrations. Here’s what’s happening on the western-ish side of the Metroplex:
Shabbat Chanukah Service – on Friday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at Congregation Beth-El in Fort Worth. They’re located at 4900 Briarhaven Road.
Community Chanukah Celebration – at Congregation Beth-El in Fort Worth on Dec. 4. At 6 p.m., a menorah lighting and latke supper (suggested $5 donation) will be held, followed by a concert featuring Rabbi Neal Katz at 7 p.m. More info is here.
Menorah Lighting – on Sunday, Dec. 5 at Veterans Park (3600 Arkansas Ln) in Arlington. Starts at 5 p.m. Enjoy latkes and doughnuts, kids’ activities and more. Optional: bring a toy for their toy drive. More info is here.
