gift of lights texas motor speedway

The 10th Annual Gift of Lights is currently ongoing at Texas Motor Speedway. One of the largest holiday light shows continues to dazzle Texans with a safe, fun holiday event during these trying times.

About Texas Motor Speedway Gift of Lights

Beginning Thursday, November 26 through Sunday, January 3, Texas Motor Speedway will host the largest drive-through light show. Guests will remain in their car and drive past more than two million lights spread across the track.

This massive display was set up by Winterland, Inc, the same company that has done similar projects for other speedways such as Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Charlotte, New Hampshire, and Phoenix. It took over 1,100 man-hours to set up the stunningly impressive display. The Gift of Lights is one of the few large events that practices social distancing to the max – making this one of the safest options for celebrating the holidays.

Texas Motor Speedway Gift of Lights Safety Protocols

Passengers must remain in their vehicles at all times during the event, not only due to COVID-19 but because that’s the way the display is designed.

However, at the end of the show, there will be food trucks you can order food from. You’ll want to eat beforehand – you can expect a lot of waiting. You might want to fill up on gas at the nearby QT or Buc-ees.

Gift of Lights Location

Gift of Lights is located at the Texas Motor Speedway at 3545 Lone Star Cir, Fort Worth, TX 76177.

Texas Motor Speedway is expecting record numbers of vehicles this year. Fortunately, the speedway has given a map on their website to help enter the Gift of Lights without traffic issues. Give the map a look over to avoid traffic. If you have never been to the speedway, then you will definitely want to look at the map.
