Fun Event: Bling Your Pumpkin

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History will hold “Bling Your Pumpkin,” a fun jack-o-lantern decorating workshop, this coming weekend on Oct. 30 and 31. At this workshop, you’ll use foam pumpkins and LED light technology to create some very cool-looking jack o’lanterns. This workshop is intended for ages 6 and up.

Members of the museum pay $8 per person to attend the workshop, while nonmembers pay $10. There are special “members only” playshop times. Members can reserve tickets for these shops ahead of time by calling 817-255-9403 or e-mailing [email protected]. Nonmembers will need to purchase at the box office on the day of the event. Here’s the playshop schedule:

Members Only Playshops:
Oct. 30 and 31: 10:15 to 11 a.m.

Non-Member Playshops:
Oct. 30 and 31 from 11:15-12 p.m., 1-1:45 p.m., 2-2:45 p.m., 3-3:45 p.m., or 4-4:45 p.m.

Space is limited to 30 participants (adults and children) in each playshop, so if you’re buying on the day of the event, show up early. The FW Museum of Science and History is at 1600 Gendy St.
