photo scarecrow_zps1385659c.jpgCome out to Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 1-4 p.m. for their Frontier Fall Fest. Representatives from several community groups, including the Embroiderer’s Guild of America, the Lone Star Leather Crafters and Texas Flintknappers, will be on hand to show off their skills. Bring your own carved or painted pumpkin to enter their “best design” contest (judging is at 3 p.m.) For a small additional fee, you can even make your own festive corn husk doll to take home, too.

Admission to Frontier Fall Fest is regular Village admission ($4.50 for kids 4-17 and adults 60+; $5 for other adults), plus a $3 craft fee for the corn husk doll.

Log Cabin Village is at 2100 Log Cabin Village Lane in Fort Worth.
