The coupon section of the March 1 Star-Telegram has two freebies worth checking into. The Smartsource insert has a coupon for a free cookie at Celebrity Cafe & Bakery (various locations in Arlington, mid-cities and Dallas – check the list here). In that same insert, Oak Farms Dairy also has a free-after-rebate certificate for a half-gallon of Over the Moon Milk, their new low-fat offering with the creamy taste of whole milk.
If you haven’t picked up your Sunday paper yet, don’t worry – it’s available throughout the week at most major grocery stores, like Wal-Mart.
Oh, and here’s a “cheap” tip I learned yesterday: The Sunday Star-Telegram costs $1.50 on the rack, but many local Dollar Tree stores carry it for a buck. If one of their locations is on your Sunday route, stop in and see if they participate.
