September is Make-A-Wish Month, and Cold Stone Creamery is celebrating by handing out free samples of “Kate’s Creation,” a treat created by a Make-A-Wish child, on Sept. 30 from 5-8 p.m. It’s part of the “World’s Largest Ice-Cream Social” event.
Kate’s Creation is caramel apple ice cream mixed with chocolate shavings, graham cracker pie crust and apple pie filling. Everyone will get a 3-oz sample served out of a pan into a cup. While at the event, you can also donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions.
