If you’re tired of slaving in a hot kitchen, turn off the stove and go out on Mondays – for free. Two DFW-area restaurants, Trece in Dallas and Cowtown Diner in Fort Worth, are offering free dinner on Mondays, if you meet a few qualifications.
At Trece, your meal is free, but you do have to purchase a drink, and you do have to tip on the value of the entrees. At Cowtown Diner, you must make a reservation by calling the restaurant at 817-332-9555, and they encourage you to buy a drink as well – something other than tap water, like perhaps a glass of wine. You should tip on the full amount here as well. Cowtown allows you to choose from Southern Smoked Chicken with Buttered Rice and Green Beans, Smoked Chicken Mac & Cheese, or Spaghetti & Meatballs.
