This information comes courtesy of Fort Worth Foodie. (Have you seen his site, or read his magazine? You should – it’s awesome.) Anyway, Texas Christian University will be sponsoring a health fair at WineStyles today (2600 W. 7th St. location) from 4-8 p.m. The title of the fair is “Disease Prevention Through Antioxidants.” And what’s rich in antioxidants? You got it – WINE.
Admission to the health fair is free, and there will be food samples and informational material for those who attend. No word on whether there will be free samples of vino available, but I happen to be a WineStyles regular (at another location) and I can tell you they’re usually very open to giving you a “preview” of their selections.
