Bring your family – and your dog – out to Family PetCare on Saturday, April 2 for Pooch and Pals, a free event and fundraiser benefiting Cowtown Loves Animal Shelter Pets, an animal-welfare organization. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Owners and dogs can participate in a variety of activities, including:
- Agility lessons with a trainer
- Doggie games
- Adopt a pet
- Face painting for kids
- Portraits with your family and dogs
- Live music
- A “Pooch & Pals” promenade
- Costumes (for dogs) are encouraged
The event is free, but donations are gladly accepted. Family PetCare is at 1501 Handley Drive.
