Come to Dutch Branch Park in Benbrook on Saturday, Oct. 16 for their fourth annual Heritage Festival and Cowboy Roundup. Heritage Fest is a day of family fun including Arts & Crafts booths, festival food, a Kiddy Korral, an Indian Village, dance performances, a Mexican Village with authentic food & dancers, live Mariachi music, radio control demonstrations by the Fort Worth Thunderbirds, plus an evening concert featuring the bluegrass Band Salt Creek. Admission is free.

The festivities take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will also feature a Trail Ride fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Riders can bring their horses to Benbrook Stables and participate in the ride for a $25 fee. Call the stables at 817-249-1001 to sign up. Proceeds from the fees will go to the YMCA’s Step Up for Kids program. The stables will also rent horses for $60 each.
