This one is worth driving to Dallas for. On Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 18 and 19, Disney will be bringing its “Christmas Carol Train Tour” to Dallas Union Station so kids can get a sneak peek of the new film version of “A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carrey. The event is free, and fun things aboard the train include:
A sneak peek of the film in a digital 3D theater
Charles Dickens museum artifacts
Concept art, costumes and models
Carolers and snow
On the 18th, the train’s hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on the 19th, it’s 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
