If you’ve been needing some simple work on your teeth but haven’t had the money to get it done, an organization called Dentistry From the Heart has teamed up with dentists across the United States to provide free dental care to people in need. Many DFW-area dentists are holding special events on certain days to provide these services. Here’s the schedule for several local dentists, along with links to their websites:
Feb. 11 – Tom Novak in Weatherford will provide services from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets will be given out on the morning of the event to the first 50 people to show up. They will receive a free cleaning, free filling or free extraction.
Feb. 11– Huckabee Dental in Southlake will treat individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be handed out beginning at 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 11. Patients must be 18 or older with valid photo ID. Services provided will be limited to cleanings, extractions, and fillings.
March 11 – Fort Worth Dental’s Arthur Mund will provide services from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Their website does not provide many specifics on the event; call them at 817-263-0202 if you have questions.
