Labor Day Weekend is sure to be fun for the little ones – check out all these fun family events happening near you:

Home Depot – Stop by your local HD on the morning of Sept. 4 – kids ages 5-12 can make a wooden Football Display for free. Call your store for event times.

Barnes & Noble – Super Saturday Storytime happens at 11 a.m. at the Hulen Center (4801 Overton Ridge) location on Sept. 4. Also on Sept. 4, the North East Mall location in Hurst will host a “Kids Jump and Jive Event” at  1 p.m.

Cowkid Roundup – happens Sept. 4 (Saturday) from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the lawn of the Livestock Exchange Building in the FW Stockyards. Kids can learn to rope, brand or just ride a stick horse. Free event!

Rodeo Zone – happens Sept. 4 at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame (128 E. Exchange) at 12 p.m. Kids can learn to dummy rope, tie goats and participate in other fun Western activities. Admission to the Hall of Fame is $3 for kids, $5 for adults.

Movies at UTA Planetarium – go to the UTA Planetarium on Friday, Saturday or Sunday to see movies for as little as $2. On Saturday at 1 p.m., they’re showing One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure. On Saturday at 2:30, they’ll show The Blind Side. See their entire movie schedule here.

Webkinz Road Trip – The Webkinz Road Trip Van will be at The Import Store in FW (915 W. Belknap) from noon until 6 p.m. on Sept. 4. At the free event, kids can enjoy games, crafts and other fun activities. Webkinz will also be given away to a few lucky kids!
