If you’re a lover of the outdoors, you’ve no doubt spent some time at one of our country’s great national parks. (I was actually married in one – did you know that the San Jose Mission grounds in San Antonio is a national park?) This weekend, July 18-19, you can get in to selected national parks FREE. This can save you anywhere from $3 to $25 per person. The parks participating in Texas are: Big Bend, Fort Davis Historic Site, Guadalupe Mountains, and Padre Island National Seashore. Unfortunately, none in the Metroplex region, but if you’re headed towards one of these parks, make plans to go. We’re going to have highs in the low 90s over the weekend. It’s a cold front!
