This year will be a lot different than the years before. As long as Covid-19 is here, everyone in the DFW will have to take extra precautions to be safe in public areas. However, that does not mean Fourth of July celebrations are all put on hold. In fact, some fireworks shows and activities are still scheduled and here is the list for DFW.

First, here is a list of canceled shows:

Addison, July 3
Addison Kaboom Town!
The watch party and airshow were canceled and Addison Circle Park will be closed. No in-person viewing of fireworks will take place. A large fireworks show at an undisclosed, out-of-town location will be streamed live on Addison’s YouTube channel at 9:30 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day
The annual festival has been replaced with a fireworks display Friday at 9:30 p.m. visible from the Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor parking lots. These lots have been designated. Avoid parking in the local shopping centers. Arrive early and expect heavy traffic. The Arlington Independence Day Parade has been canceled.

Fort Worth, July 4
Fort Worth’s Fourth
Panther Island Pavilion will be closed and there will be no activities. However, the largest fireworks show in North Texas will be at a higher level for better visibility. It will be shown live on FOX 4 at 9:20 p.m. and also streamed on FOX4News.com.

Frisco, July 4
Frisco Freedom Fest
City of Frisco and FC Dallas will host a 20-minute fireworks show on July 4 at 9:30 p.m. with parking at Toyota Stadium. People are encouraged to stay in their vehicles to watch. The Hotter ‘N Firecracker 5K, cornhole tournament and festival planned for July 3 – 4 are canceled due to COVID-19.

Although some shows have been cancelled out right, others have been atlered to comply with new laws and regulations. Regardless of where you are in the DFW, there will be a fireworks show available – in person or online.
