St. Patrick’s Day is always fun to celebrate, but if you’ve got kids, the wild beer-swilling events aren’t always appropriate. Solution: Go to the Fort Worth Stockyards Station on March 13 for “Cowtown Goes Green,” their family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day event. Beginning at 1 p.m., they’ll have a variety of entertainment options for the whole family, including pony rides, a petting zoo, contests from Radio Disney, and a live Irish band. Plus, there will be the usual Fort Worth Herd Cattle Drive, followed by a St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
This event is free. For more info about Stockyards Station, visit www.stockyardsstation.com.
