Fort Worth Animal Care and Control just announced a new special – starting today, Oct. 7, the price to adopt a dog is dropping from $70 to $49, and cat adoptions are dropping to $25 from $50. This price is good at the Martin Street shelter and the Hulen Street PetSmart Adoption Center.

Included in the fee are standard vaccinations, a city license, and a microchip ID. The pet will also be spayed or neutered.

If you would like to take a look at some of the animals that the Fort Worth shelter has for adoption, check on the Petfinder website. Judging from the number of animals, I’d say it’s probably just a partial listing.
