Have you ever wanted to be on Wheel of Fortune? If you think you’d make a good game-show contestant, come to the Dallas Convention Center Arena on March 6 to try out for the show. The press release says they are looking for people who are “energetic, enthusiastic and fun.” Contestant searches will begin at 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 5 p.m., but staffers will hand out applications one hour before each show begins. People will be randomly selected to come to the stage and audition.

The release also notes that there is no charge to come to this event, but if you want to park inside the Dallas Convention Center Garage, it’ll cost you $10.

FYI Update 3/6/10: I just learned that Wheel of Fortune tryouts will also be in Fort Worth on March 7 at Billy Bob’s Texas (2520 Rodeo Plaza) from 2-6 p.m. This is also a free event.
